There are some good things that need to be said. That is the basis for EncouragemeantSays. Here are some foundational scriptures for my site as a sort of cornerstone to my little piece of the internet.
Nourish.
I’m starting EncouragemeantSays to nourish the hearts of my readers so that more grace can extend to more and more people and multiply so that thanksgiving and glory may increase to God! I believe, therefore I speak.
“Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak…For all these things are taking place for your sake, so that the more grace (divine favor and spiritual blessing) extends to more and more people and multiplies through the many, the more thanksgiving may increase [and redound] to the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:13,15 AMPC (amplified classic translation)
The spirit behind the words.
My heart with EncouragemeantSays is to uplift, encourage and edify you. Kindly goodness. Uprightness of heart. Trueness of life. That’s the spirit behind the words spoken here. May these scriptures resound through the thoughts and ideas shared within these pages.
For the fruit (the effect, the product) of the Light or the Spirit consists in every form of kindly goodness, uprightness of heart, and trueness of life. Ephesians 5:9 AMPC
“Therefore encourage (admonish, exhort) one another and edify (strengthen and build up) one another, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 AMPC
The Movement.
Through the use of meaningful words, I believe EncouragemeantSays will become a movement that will cheer hearts, uplift spirits, satisfy weary souls and leads others to love, joy, peace and hope! May His goodness multiply through these posts.
