Last night, two white dogs came to our door (very unexpectedly!) and proceeded to provide hours of delight to our daughters and their friend next door. During worship earlier that morning, I heard the Lord say, “Surprises!” and I knew He was saying that He had surprises in store for the Body of Christ in 2022. I believe double portion blessings are coming as God is always faithful and just to repay us for what the enemy has stolen.
Isaiah 61:7-8 AMPC
Instead of your former shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach [your people] shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess DOUBLE what they had forfeited; everlasting joy shall be theirs.8 For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong with violence or a burnt offering. And I will faithfully give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with them.
As I was pondering 2022 and the meaning of the numbers, immediately I saw a flash in my mind’s eye that read Hebrews 10:10. For me, the number 20 represents a double portion of the number 10. And 22 is a double portion of the number 11. And clearly, 22 is two in a row of the number 2. From my perpsective, 2022 has two double portions in it, which is in itself a doubling.
Word from the Lord
On 9/8/2021 I received a word from the Lord, and after praying about it, felt led to share it, that it might be a blessing and encouragement to others.
I hear Him say and I know with conviction that, “THIS TIME IT WILL BE DIFFERENT.” I hear Him say, “The depth of the valley is indicative of the height of the mountain top.” I heard Him whisper, “What if what was stolen was only permitted to happen so that I could bless you DOUBLE?? I INTEND to bless you DOUBLE and I knew the end from the beginning. Going into the valley, I was taller than you and I could see how I was going to use it to bless you. But the enemy couldn’t see what I could see. He has always been a pawn in My scheme. His pridefulness blinds him from knowing the TRUTH and the TRUTH will set you free! Come higher! Live HIGHER! Higher in your thinking. Higher in your mindset. Don’t let your perspective be from the valley floor when there is so much more! Oh I know the plans I have for you My Beloved! I have known them from the beginning of time and NO ONE will out play or out rank Me! I AM the ALPHA. I AM the OMEGA. Do you honestly think he has anything on ME? Oh my precious daughter, it’s time. It is time to come home to My love and My way of thinking. Repentance is coming around to My way of thinking about your life. My way of seeing and being and doing. Working with Me is so delightful! Let Me delight your soul and make you whole! You are the apple of My eye and I love you with an everlasting love says the Lord!”

John 11:11 speaks of awakening and resurrection power. Hebrews 11:11 speaks of birthing and promises fulfilled. Promises that birthed a NATION I might add.
It’s no mistake that TWO white dogs came to our door and infused our girls with joy! They were a perfect pair and represented double to me. While the dogs were eventually returned to their owners, the symbolism of this happening on the same day that I heard “Surprises!” and was pondering the meaning of the doubling number patterns is significant. A sign and a wonder!
